AMD has massive problems with it and Crossfire creates even more problems = A shitty cocktail. Apparently the guy behind the mod is also working on an all in one installer that will 'install iCEnhancer, the textures, a config tool, and downgrade the Steam version to 1.0.4.0 (the most stable version for the mod).' The place to download is linked below, though its under heavy load currently. The game has a steady 60 fps performance no matter what happens on screen and loading times are cut by over 60. I even rewatches the entire video to make absolutely sure I didn't miss anything. However, at dusk and night, the game is completely pitch black. Somebody help me dude I just wanna Play GTA 4 modded this shouldnt be so damn hard to find a true updated 2023 modding guide because that one from 2021 isn't working and I just wasted 3 hours figuring out this shit all for it to not work. I was just lucky to never see any of them, well I did when I was running AMD's Crossfire. I recently got ICEnhancer 3.0 working again at a good solid 60 FPS. Also the latest addition of Night Shadows can create some hitching I've been told, on some systems it even tanks performance completely.Īs said though, I'm apparently a blessed soul because a lot of people on powerful systems running even lower systems experience a lot of problems. It's the sliders and vehicle density that are the main culprits.
